Viewing Element Properties

You can display the properties of any element in a model by double-clicking on the element. This will display a properties dialog:

Each element has a different dialog. The dialog will be grayed out (since you cannot edit it).

The input fields to an element can contain either:

• a value (e.g., 0 m3);
• a link to another element (e.g., Inflow_Rate); or
• a mathematical expression (which itself can incorporate links Connections between two elements created by making the output of one element the input to another. from other elements Objects that represent basic building blocks of a GoldSim model. (e.g., 3*Inflow_Rate).

Most elements will have specified display units The units (e.g., m, g, $/day, kg/hr) in which an output is displayed within GoldSim., which control how the units in which the elements outputs will be displayed (some outputs may be dimensionless, and hence will have no units).
