The author of a Player file can specify whether or not you can run the model in the Player. In general, however, if your Player file has a Dashboard, it was probably designed so that you will be able to run it. If it does not have a Dashboard, it was probably designed so that you will not be able to run it (since you would not be able to change any of the inputs).
